Green Formula Capital’s Managing Partner Meelis Šokman is participating in the 1ST NATIONAL ROUNDTABLE ON FINANCING ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN ESTONIA, organised by the European Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.
The first national roundtable in Estonia aims to promote dialogue between the key stakeholders in the field of sustainable energy financing.
Meelis will cover the topic of the experience of investing in energy efficiency. Today as never before this topic requires our attention, it is time to take energy efficiency projects from idea to implementation.
Renovation of commercial properties and energy efficiency of buildings and processes in the industrial sector is mainly driven by the owner’s willingness and rising energy prices. There is a need to find additional incentives to increase the renovation rate. In this session, we are discussing the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) model and voluntary energy efficiency schemes as additional motivators and experiences from energy efficiency obligation schemes as regulatory instruments.
