Kai grew up in a family business manufacturing lighting solutions for stationary retail in Europe. In this industry, he has been able to shape the transformation of energy-intensive retail applications into a symbol of energy saving (LED), both internally and on the market side. Since taking over the management, he has developed the family business from an OEM manufacturer to an independent brand in Europe. Managing the company according to “ESG” principles was a guiding principle before the term “ESG” had even been developed. Following the sale of his company, he now wants to contribute his expertise and networks of green projects to real estate project development.
In addition to his entrepreneurial expertise, Kai also has a legal background and is licensed to practice law in Germany. He also holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and has worked in finance and marketing in London and Stockholm.
